Student Responsibilities

1. Meet with Department Chair or Assigned Faculty to Determine Internship Eligibility

1. • • Best Practice: Submit “Letter of Intent to Register” (Formsite)
     • Meet with department chair or assigned faculty 60-90 days prior to the beginning of the semester

2. Prepare Resume, Cover Letter and Portfolio (Optional) Register for Internship Course

1. • • Students requiring assistance should schedule an appointment with a career services specialist a minimum of 30 days prior to the beginning of the semester
     • The Career Services Team is available to assist students with resume, cover letter, and interview skills

4. Complete Internship Agreement

1. • • Agreement is due by the end of the 6^th week of class, Friday.
     • Agreements not received by the 6^th week of class and without explanation may result in a mandatory drop, course incompletion or fail

5. Complete Student Employer Evaluation

1. 1. • Best practice: Students will complete evaluations 1-2 weeks before the end of the semester
